Fire Safety

This course is designed to give individuals knowledge of fire safety management, the duties and responsibilities of an individual and actions that need to be taken in the event of a fire emergency. 

 On completion of this course you will understand the following:

1. Understand what fire is, the causes of fires and the importance of fire safety management.

2. Identify fire hazards in the workplace and the controls required.

3. To understand and assist in the workplace evacuation procedures and fire emergency plan.

4. Understand the types and use of portable fire extinguishers.

5. Take appropriate action in the event of fire.

Fire Warden

2. Understand what fire is, the causes of fires and the importance of fire safety management.

3. Identify fire hazards in the workplace and the controls required.

4. To understand and assist in the workplace evacuation procedures and fire emergency plan.

5. Understand the types and use of portable fire extinguishers.

6. Take appropriate action in the event of fire.
